Aerobics
Aerobics, which literally means "with oxygen", and refers to the use of oxygen in the muscles' energy-generating process, became quite popular in the late 70s and early 80s. Over the years, the exercise has gone through several changes, and now, at 2B-Fit, it has achieved an art form status. Our highly trained instructors have developed an exciting freestyle aerobic program designed to improve fitness, flexibility and strength, while, at the same time, invigorate your heart and lungs (cardiovascular system).

Many freestyle aerobics, which is basically a rapid stepping pattern performed to music, with cues provided by the instructor, can often become boringly repetitious. Our program, which combines many unique movements including "dancing" and "martial arts," keeps the group, literally, on its toes, and sometimes includes the use of equipment, such as a barbell or small weights.

Although most freestyle aerobic groups consist of young female children and women 35 or older for general fitness and/or weight loss, many men also find this type of exercise invaluable for increasing stamina for the heart.
